Nokia N93 -:- Huge user review
To buy or not to buy, the question is now; it is a simple question but it is incredible hard to give the right and simple answer, actually after 15 days of really hard and detailed testing I do not have a clear answer I’m afraid, but in the fact I have to say that I don’t even pretend to give you the answer because it is simply impossible, it really depends on your personal tastes and needs.
In the following review and subsequent pages I will just try to clear some doubts and share with you my opinions about this undoubtedly amazing device. I’m going to review every single aspect of this phone and I truly hope that it will help you to find your way through the labyrinth of necessary decisions in looking for the answer whether this is the right phone for you.
I don’t want to disappoint you at the beginning but I have to say that I’m not going to review this phone from the point of view of one average mobile users, not at all, this site is related to so called power users and review definitely targets such a readers and therefore it could be pretty confusing and hard to follow for users who do not have so much experience with Smartphones.
As I already said in the preview, I’ll not try to deny that this is one of the biggest phones at the moment, it will be hard to pass airport security service because phone could be treated as the deadly weapons ;) Seriously, N93 is the largest phone in S60 portfolio, it is even a little bit larger and heavier than the N90 but after more than one year with N90 in my pocket, in my personal opinion it really does not matter.
Width, length, height, weight or even price after all, who cares about!? Physical measures are completely irrelevant the facts about this amazing phone, features before all and if you even take just a brief look at specifications you will notice that N93 simply rocks in every single aspect, list of features is amazing, N93 is the Rolls Royce among Smartphones.
Nokia N93 comes with two different cover colours, Pearl Black and Aluminium Grey. My tested version is silver, which definitely looks better than I’ve though but I will still rather choose the black one. My girlfriend claims that it looks, much, much better than the N90 and I have to admit, silver version looks really nice, but from other hand, almost all of my friends claims that N90 is nicer phone.
In my personal opinion it definitely does not looks as strong as the N90 it leaves an impression of something cheap and weak, it looks somehow like plastic, actually I just do not have right feeling about this phone, I’m definitely not as much impressed as I was with the N90, phone simply fails to impress me at first sight. However,, considering that this is my very subjective opinion. I will provide few side by side photos and allow you to decide by self which phone features better design.
