New Firmware Update For Nokia E90
Full Change log is In Da House!!
I bet most of you already know that Nokia has rolled out another firmware update for the E90 but most of you don’t know what is exactly changed with this firmware and is it worth update to version 300.34.84! After a bit of nervous searching and waiting in the dark, I finally managed to get the full official change log which will clear all your doubts to update it or not, at least I hope.
Beside this log I also got a few more documents, including the logs for the latest firmware of the Nokia N96 as well as the detailed logs for few Eseries phones but these update are not yet announced so I am not sure to publish it or not!
So here it is, the full change log of the latest firmware update for the Nokia E90. Firmware is announced as major update but unfortunately change log isn’t as impressive as the last one which brought numerous new and useful features like WRT (Web Run Time Widget) or Flash Lite!
New firmware brings the update to preinstalled Maps application and it is mostly focused on improving the overall performance as well as fix known bugs and problems that have been discovered and reported!
However the most important new about the latest update is that imperial strikes back!!!! Nokia has successfully a security hole and its confirmed that Nokia E90 is NOT HACKABLE after update! So better think twice and be sure that you are ready to lose the full system access to get the new version of maps software that can be easily installed anyway.
As usually, log is protected with few minor chnages just to track it around ;)
