Sports Tracker Goes Windows Phone
And Is Now Available For N9 From Nokia Store!

Sports Tracker app, which was originally developed by Nokia for Symbian OS years ago and later released for iOS and Android is Sports Tracker is now ported to MeeGo OS and is available for download from Nokia Store for Nokia N9.

Also, couple of days ago I briefly informed you that Sports Tracker team is working on the Windows Phone version of the application and now we just get the official confirmation that Sports Tracker app will launch on Windows Phone in November.

Application is expected to support feature all the tracking capabilities you've come to expect from Sports Tracker including tried and true tracking features, the training diary and the ability to share workouts on Facebook, Twitter and sports-tracker.com.

The much-anticipated Windows Phone version of Sports Tracker comes with the category-leading tracking features familiar from the Symbian, Android and iPhone versions. In addition to tracking the app comes with a comprehensive training diary, ability to share workouts to Facebook, Twitter and the Sports Tracker online community as well as cloud backup of tracked activities to sports-tracker.com.

The Diary will also sync your workouts to sports-tracker.com for backup and further analysis on the bigger screen. The development of the app is already well on it’s way and we expect to get the app out in November so just in time for the first Lumia 800′s to hit the market :)

The new mobile application allows users to
  • Record activities with all the data needed to analyze the performance, including distance, speed, duration, route, step count and more
  •  Check their location on the map while running, cycling, walking or with any other outdoor activity
  • Upload their activity data from their phone to the Sports Tracker service
  • Share their activities and automatically geo-tagged photos with other users and friends on Facebook, directly from their phone
  • Record heart rate data by connecting the Polar WearLink®+ transmitter with Bluetooth® heart rate belt by Polar
  • Automatically compare speed, distance and duration of recorded activities
