Maps.Nokia.Com Brings Real Time
Traffic Info To US, Brazil, Russia & Spain
A few weeks ago, Nokia announced that Maps users from UK, France and Germany can experience Live traffic Flow and now I am pleased to inform you that maps.nokia.com has Live traffic Flow features for US, Brazil, Russia and Spain as well.
Traffic congestion is a growing problem in major urban areas and there is a large and growing necessity in the provision of services and information for people on the move.
Having the latest information at your fingertips means that you can optimize your routes to spend less time on the road and have more time for yourself and your loved ones.
Given how much time we spend on commuting from one place to another as part of our daily lives, Nokia Maps has rolled out some new Traffic features in Beta. Now with the latest beta of Nokia Maps Mobile client, there is a Live Traffic routing.
Now, you can turn on “Avoid traffic” in the “Route settings” to take traffic conditions into account while you drive. But what if you are at home, and want to have a quick peek at the traffic conditions before you start your journey?
And what about the times when you wait at home for a loved one driving through the city traffic? No need to worry, now, maps.nokia.com brings to you the latest Live Traffic information to keep you in the know – before you go.

By clicking on the traffic icon on Maps.Nokia.com, you can now watch the live traffic flow in Germany, France and United Kingdom. The traffic information is refreshed every five minutes to provide you with the latest traffic data. It also covers all the highways and main roads in the three countries – which means all the important road networks are covered.
