+ The Countdown To The Latest Symbian Launch Has Started

22 August 2011

Are You Ready To Try Something New?
Countdown To Latest Symbian Launch Has Started

A new flash countdown timer has shown up on the Nokia's official (Facebook.com/Nokia) Facebook page. The timer itself gives little details and only says that "It's almost time to TRY SOMETHING NEW" "SOMETHING NEW ON SYMBIAN" and of course displays actual hours, minutes and seconds left.

While I writing this article there are 45 hours, 45 minutes and few seconds left, which lines up with the Symbian event scheduled to be held in Hong Kong this week. I don't know about you, but if you ask me, I smell a new devices announcement?!

Most probably the recently rumored Symbian Belle powered devices including Cindy (Nokia 600), Zeta (Nokia 700) and Helen (Nokia 701), all of them powered by a 1 GHz processor and similar specifications to each other.

So, is there anyone who guesses as to what this big announcement is? You just hear mine, let's hear yours, I’m really curious!?? Maybe it going to something completely different!? Entirely new UI similar to WP7’s Metro or maybe even better a something close to awesome MeeGo ‘s Swipe User Interface!?

That's it, I won't clutter this news with a whole lot of words, but I can promise you that I'll bring plenty more coverage in the next few days, so stay tuned!
