Angry Birds Rio Will Be Coming Out For
Symbian^3 Users Via The Ovi Store On April 8
Are you an Angry Birds freak that plays on your Symbian^3 powered device? If so, I have some interesting news for you!
Angry Birds Rio has already made it’s way to the App store, and Android devices through Amazon Appstore but Rovio Mobile, developer of this supremely addicting game just confirmed that Angry Birds Rio will be coming out for Symbian^3 users via the Ovi Store on April 8.
On the other hand, RIO just got an gorgeous Website for itself to tell us a story which we assume coming as a Cinema at April 15th from the creators of Ice Age.
Rovio and 20th Century Fox together bring us a new adventure to Brazil in RIO De Janerio where Angry Birds will fight against a group of animal smugglers.
In the game Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to Rio themselves, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel.
The main reason for the lack of pigs is that the game is based on the upcoming film RIO from Twentieth Century Fox, which incidentally comes out in theaters on April 15. The game was developed in conjunction with the film company and as such will feature the animated birds (Blu and Jewel) from the film.
However, the premise of the game is similar in that you need to catapult your way across two episodes and 60 levels saving your bird friends and taking out monkeys along the way. There is also supposed to be plenty of new achievements and unlockable secrets for you to find.

Graphically the game will be an improvement over the original, though as with Angry Birds Seasons, some of the older Android phones could potentially lag on certain levels if lots of action is going on.
Fox is the first Hollywood studio allowed to tap into the global success of Angry Birds, from Finnish company Rovio. The marketing partnership was revealed at a press junket on the Fox lot, after footage from the pic -- with a voice cast led by Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway -- was shown.

Blu and Linda think he’s the last of his kind, but when they learn about another Macaw who lives in Rio De Janerio, they head to the faraway and exotic land to find jewel, Blu’s female counterpart.
Not long after they arrive, Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by a group bungling animal smugglers.
