Nokia Software Updater BETA
Gets Few Minor Updates And Proxy UI

I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that Nokia has rolled out another update for Nokia Software Updater BETA that includes few minor updates and improvements in the user interface.

Changes in the latest release (version 3.0.223) include Proxy UI, Html help, Automatic client update fixed, N8 device application update fixed, SW update recovery fixed and it is highly suggestible to test it, if you are brave enough of course ;)

Especially the proxy UI has been influenced by the testing that has been done within the beta community.

Software update is the very sensitive process that could result with a dead phone, AKA 'brick issue' and therefore, you must make sure that you that you have latest software updater version.

The process of updating firmware is serious work; hence any disruption during the process of downloading and flashing could result in permanent damage to the device that can only be repaired at official Nokia Service Points.

Therefore it is recommended to take all precautions measures, update the client, terminate any unnecessary program on your PC, and of course charge the battery to prevent device from being powered off during the update.

This application version offers registration for information on new software updates and a new layout designed to give you a little more information when you might need it.
