Nokia N8 Under Number Of Extreme Crash Tests
If you are an ardent Smartphone follower and a huge fan of Nokia than you should already know that Finnish mobile phone giant has a global network of ten test centres around and that every Nokia device goes through grueling set of more than 200 different mechanical tests, from the first prototype to the final product.
The range of tests involves testing responses to being dropped, scratched or exposed to extreme temperatures. Tests are developed and conducted to resemble real-life situations.
Durability tests, for example, include measuring the device's resilience when dropped from a certain height - a shirt pocket - onto a concrete surface. Nokia N8 isn't exception and below you can see video of a pair of Nokia N8s undergoing the infamous drop test, simulating your phone falling from the height of your shirt pocket onto a hard surface dozens of times.

Of course, don’t try to make such tests at home, don’t even thing about because these extreme endurance tests are not covered by your warranty :) .
