+ Nokia To Start Shipping The Nokia N8 On September 30

06 September 2010

Nokia N8 Will Begin Shipping On September
30 According To Company's Senior Manager!

Nokia N8According to the good folks over at E's Phone Blog, Tapani Kaskinen, Nokia's Senior Comms Manager, has revealed to a Kauppalehti.fi, one of Finland’s most popular internet pages and a leading web service in financial and business information that company will begin shipping first wave of Nokia N8 pre-orders starting the 30th of this month.

So, it looks like that earlier speculations about the launch date of the Nokia N8 are sort of correct and  if you’ve one of those who have ordered the Nokia's flagship mobile computer directly from Nokia, you’ll be pleased to hear that that you should receive it on September 30th with no further delays!

It is quite clear Nokia have realized they had a lot of catching up to do and the N8 could be the dawn of a new era for the Finnish communication giants. Nokia have combined a fully loaded 12MP digital camera capable of recording HD video with the optical mastery of Carl Zeiss.

The result is astonishing. The phone can produce beautiful, crisp still images and smooth high clarity video recordings in HD, not to mention that you can hook up the phone to your home cinema system via the HDMI connection for a big screen experience.

The N8 doesn’t look typically Nokia, and it has much smoother lines than the X6 and N97. The 3.5 inch AMOLED screen has 16:9 nHD (640 x 360) pixel resolution and is capacitive for multi touch control. The Anodized aluminium casing is very hard wearing and comes in a range of colours, including Orange, Blue and Green.
