Minor Firmware Update For
Nokia X6 Available As FOTA Update!

I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that Nokia has rolled out minor firmware update for its first capacitive touchscreen smartphone.

Firmware version 12.0.091 for Nokia X6 is now available as 'Over The Air' update for most of the generic product codes and should be shortly available through Nokia Software Updater as well.

Unfortunately, I still didn’t manage to get the change log but as you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended as it usually brings improvements in performance and optimizes the functionality of the phone across many applications.

Oh yes, one more thing, Nokia X6 has the UDP but it is anyway highly suggestible to back up your phone memory before performing a firmware update as precaution measure in case something goes wrong.

To automatically receive the latest application and firmware update suggestions directly to your Nokia X6 Over The Air, just go to Applications > Software Update. This software release should be also available for updating with a PC and the Nokia Software Updater: www.nokia.com/softwareupdates.

Process of downloading and updating firmware Over The Air shouldn't take too long and cost you too much. Nokia provides this software free of charge. However, costs for downloading may be charged by your network operator or service provider. Please contact them for information about pricing.
