Minor Firmware Update
For Nokia E72 Available On NSU!
Just a quick heads up about yet another firmware update for S60 devices, mostly a curiosity for those of you who haven't seen post about new firmware update (22.007) for Nokia E72 at our forum section.
In short, our Evolution reported yesterday that Nokia has rolled out a minor software upgrade for the Nokia E72. Software is now available in version through the Nokia Software Updater for most of the generic product codes from EMEA region.
As usually, software should be progressively available at the Nokia service points, so even in case you have slow dial-up internet connection you be able to get new firmware at official Nokia service points.
Unfortunately it is not available as FOTA update which is by the way the best possible way of delivering such a small software updates and it is kind strange why Nokia not offering this update over the air.
There are no visible changes but as you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended because it usually improves the performance and reliability! Oh yes, one more thing, Nokia E72 has the UDP but it is anyway highly suggestible to back up your phone memory before performing a firmware update as precaution measure in case something goes wrong.
