Nokia Has Pleasantly Surprised Us With New Firmware Updates For Nokia's Ex-Flagship Devices
These are exceedingly busy days for folks over at Nokia Software Updater labs, after highly-anticipated firmware updates for the Nokia 5530 (v20.0.80) and Nokia N85 (v31.002) that went live couple of days ago Nokia has pleasantly surprised us with probably the last update for company’s ex ‘flagship’ devices Nokia N95-8GB and Nokia N82.
Software version v35 is now regularly available for Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB and Nokia N82 for most of the generic Euro and NAM product codes through the Nokia Software Updater and will be progressively available at the Nokia service points.
Although there is no detailed change log it is still highly suggestible to get it as it usually brings dozens of minor bug fixes and improves reliability of your phone. In case you wonder if firmware is hackable or not you'll have to wait a little bit more as there is no reports if new software is hackable or not. Oh yes, N95 lacks the UDP so be sure that you have the valid backup before the update!!

Process of downloading and updating firmware shouldn't take too long and cost you too much as Nokia provides this software free of charge. However, costs for downloading may be charged by your network operator or service provider. Please contact them for information about pricing.
As with all software releases, note that your mobile service provider, operator, or carrier may not have approved this release. Nokia produces many different variants of each product (for different countries and languages) and not all variants have the latest Nokia device firmware. It is our priority to update all variants as quickly as possible.
