For a years we've been promised micro-projectors with the size of a matchbox and even a sugar cube that will liberate visual content from the tiny screens of our mobile devices.
Unfortunately none have materialized it onto the market although all major brands intensively working on projector equipped phones lately.
Well, it seems like our long wait is almost over! At the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2010 in Las Vegas on January 6th, Logic Wireless will unveil second generation of its Logic Bolt projector phone and what is even more important it is rumored to be powered with Symbian s60 platform!!!
Logic Wireless debuted the Logic Bolt V 1.0 at the CES 2009, which contained the first ever phone-integrated projector capable of projecting phone media content on any surface up to 60-inches while the company’s second generation projector phone is capable to produces images of native 640×480 resolution up to 64-inches in screen size.
The new Logic Bolt v1.5 is a classic candy bar phone but it features the bulky projector at the bottom of the phone. Furthermore there is aa 2.6-inch QVGA display, features 3M camera, 1M front camera, media player, FM radio, TV tuner, text viewer, microSD card slots, Bluetooth, Symbian OS support.
It also offers up to 3 hours of talking time, 200-250 hours of standby, and only two hours in the projector mode and that’s basically all we know about for now.
