Cheaper 16GB Variant Of Nokia X6
Without CWM Might Be Available In Q1 2010
At last week's Nokia World conference in Stuttgart, Finnish mobile phone giant has released its first Xseries branded device that combines 32 GB of on-board memory, 3.2-inch finger touch interface, and 16:9 widescreen display optimised for photos, videos and browsing and is powered with 5th Edition of S60 platform.
Nokia X6 is company's first in several categories, beside being Nokia first-ever phone equipped with a capacitive touchscreen, Nokia X6 is also supposed to be the company’s first device exclusively available in combination with 'Comes With Music' service that offers a full year of unlimited music downloads but also significantly increase the price.
According to Nokia users will be forced to pick up the "CWM" offering no matter want it or not or to seek alternative devices from Nokia’s touch portfolio in order to get rid of fees for something they don’t need at all.
Fortunately, it seems there will be a cheaper version of the phone with the 16GB of build in flash memory instead of 32 GB and without CWM offering.
The availability and pricing of cheaper X6 variant gets leaked by Expansys which online shop now lists the 32GB version at £529.99 for release on 12 November, while the 16GB, non-Comes With Music edition appears to be on hold until 23 February next year, with a cheaper price tag of £344.99.
As of now, cheaper variant of X6 isn't confirmed by any official sources whatsoever, good ol' Expansys never fails to let us down when it comes to getting a guideline on price and date deets.
