Your Chance To Win: Symbian-Freak's Great N97 Giveaway
I've been a major internet addict going back to the mid 1990's and the rise of AOL and Microsoft Windows. Even to this day, spending massive amounts of time browsing the web takes up most of my time. If the internet came in an intraveinous drip, my arms would be scarred with track marks.
Three years ago, I was lucky enough to get a puppy I named Raki. He's now grown into a big 78 lb. three year old American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as an American Pit Bull. Raki is my undisputed best friend. Extremely active and requiring alot of attention, Raki absolutely hates when I sit at my desktop PC with my back to him, paying little attention to him and acting totally disconnected.
My problem was solved with my discovery of Symbian and S60. With my Nokia smartphone, I could take him on walks, play fetch with him, and do his daily workouts all while still able to surf the web, take pictures and videos I could instantly post online, send and receive instant messages, and listen to the radio. It was and still is a match made in heaven. I'm able to experience my media, maintain my online presence, and still having a close relationship with my dog.
Here's a video from Tomoharu Yazawa, the Nokia N97 Product Manager, talking about mobile computing and what it means to him.

So mobile computing definitely means alot to Tomoharu Yazawa, me, and surely to most of us Freaks. It means I get to spend less time disconnected from reality at my PC, and more quality time out and about with my loyal friend, Raki. I can play with him with my left hand while immersed in my connected world all within the palm of my right. Since he's always with me while I use my device, I sometimes feel that he's a Symbian-Freak, too, in a roundabout way.
What does mobile computing mean to you? Why not post a video or other media response online telling what it means to you? All you need to do is be a registered member of the Symbian-Freak Forums, post your video response on YouTube, Ovi Share, or another media hosting and sharing site, and post the URL to your response in this forum thread. Make sure your response is creative, compelling, and entertaining, because the poster with the most outstanding response will win a shiny new Nokia N97, courtesy of WOMWorld!
Good luck! I look forward to many interesting responses from our readers. Maybe your response will be the one chosen as the winner of a new Nokia N97.
(This is a separate contest from the ones announced on AllAboutSymbian and the Nokia Blog. Entries on those sites will not count toward the Symbian-Freak Great N97 Giveaway.)
