+ Mysterious Nokia RM-559 'AKA Alvin' Appears on FCC Site

01 September 2009

Nokia Gets FCC's Approval For
Mysterious RM-559 'Alvin' Device

Nokia RM-559Not long at all after that mysterious Nokia RX-51 passed through the FCC and made its official debut another device with nearly the same specifications quietly gets FCC approval.

Unfortunately, FCC documents lack the usual external and internal photos or the user manual but the label behind the battery clearly shows that phone known as Alvin is equipped with 32GB of build in of NAND flash memory and is made in Hungary with the code name Nokia RM-559!

We know that Nokia is gearing toward launching its first Eseries device with the touch user interface and considering that phone is equipped with the 32GB of memory and is large enough to carry BL-5J battery makes us think it is next Nokia high-end touch device with big and wide, display.

Mysterious handset represented by the silhouette above could be even recently rumoured Nokia N920 that is supposed to be based on Maemo 5 same as Nokia N900 with addition of the larger display and lack of the QWERTY keyboard.

Anyway, whatever it is, it looks like it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA, 32 GB of flash memory and we can only hope that Nokia will reveal some more info soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow at the Nokia World in Stuttgart!?
