New Firmware Update For N97 To Bring
Numerous Improvements and Kinetic Scrolling!

I just saw YouTube video showing the upcoming major software update for the Nokia N97. The software is set to bring dozens of bug fixes and further optimize functionality and stability of the phone.

The most importantly, upcoming firmware v20 will finally add support for kinetic scrolling across many applications. Besides that, it will also adds couple of new widgets including an update Facebook application.

Thanks to the numerous improvements and further code optimization the complete UI is significantly faster and phone is more responsive.

Some of the improvements are shown in the clip that proves how much Nokia cares user experience. I’m really looking forward to get this new firmware as soon as possible to get this big performance improvement. I also hope that promised Skype application will also be in the package.

Since the v12 firmware the N97 became much more stable and faster too and this long awaited major software update will be another prove, that this devices haves many advantages.
