Samsung Mobile Innovator

After several alpha and beta versions, the dev team over at Mobile Innovator developers portal have released the first stabile version of the DevPack for the Samsung i8910 a.k.a. OmniaHD!

This first ever Samsung’s device specific SDK features everything you need to develop for Samsung's flagship Symbian phone and brings the support for custom Samsung APIs such as NaviSensor and MotionUI API as well as full support for the sensor framework that also provides the AmbientLight status for which the DevPack provides an application that can be controlled in this manner.

It has been in beta for the last couple of weeks while they sorted out some issues with the web-cam functionality. Previously you could only use this with an external webcam, but problem is now resolved so it works just as well with your internal camera.

Add to this advanced GSensor emulation, full support for the Samsung Mobile Widget framework and an interface optimized for a small laptop screen and you’ll get the the best developers SDK experience around.
