N97 Widget Competition
Experience Online As It Happens

The Nokia N97 Widget Competition that is currently running on the new Online as it happens web site allows you to create your own widgets, and keep track of your personal interests as they happen online. Once you have created a widget you can take it with you from the site. Embed it on your own site or blog, or access it directly with a unique URL to your widget.

Get started straight away, and enter the competition for your chance to have your widget developed and made available for download from Ovi Store. All 10 winners in the competition will also receive the Nokia N97 with their very own widget pre-installed in the device.

You will be able to follow the development process right here on the Nokia Nseries Blog. Winners will be selected by a jury, and the selection is based on the creative execution along with the feasibility and usability of the widget for the Nokia N97.

To answer some of the very many questions regarding the competition:

There are 10 widgets and devices to be won. Each widget competition runs over 2 weeks, during which the created widgets from this period of time are contending for that specific slot on the competition page of the site

Winning widgets will be added to the winners’ page as soon as they have been selected by the jury. Due to the amount of created widgets this may take a couple of days, so please bear with us. The countdown did indeed have a slight hick-up, but this should all be resolved now.

As soon as a winning widget has been selected, it will be announced both here on the Nseries blog and on the site. Further posts will reveal when they are developed and available for download from Ovi Store.
