Eldar's In-Depth N97 Review Is Out In Russian!
He did it again, Eldar Murtazin, chief of one of the biggest mobile technology related sites just published the very first in-depth review of the Nokia’s forthcoming touchscreen device.
Review is pretty detailed, full of live photos , numerous screenshots, camera and video samples and it definitely worth going there even if you don't understand even a single Russian word.
Of course you can always use some of the web translators, these sites aren’t prefect in translations but you’ll get a chance to read it before Eldar's slaves translate it to English.
Anyway, thanks to the Google translator and my very basic Russian knowledge it’s clear that Eldar is generally very positive about device, although it fails to impress him with any particular feature beside the widgets and Facebook integration!
He also claims that phone is not any faster than the Nokia 5800 and is actually even slower in some applications although it has a bit faster processor and more free RAM after the fresh start. So, it seems that I was right to be suspicious and that Nokia N97 will not be as fast as it should be unfortunately.
Anyway, usually we are not covering non-English stuff but Nokia N97 is the pretty hot subject lately and I thought I should share this with you anyway. So, if you one those who can’t deal with the Russian language and Cyrillic alphabet you can try Yahoo's Babel Fish or Google translator or wait few days until Eldarn moves it to English section of the site. As soon as he release translated version we will let you know of course ;)
That’s all for know, just hope that English version will be online soon, hopefully tomorrow :]
