Nokia Mako and Snapper
Two New Nokia S60 Devices Leaked
Thanks to the fine folks over at Engadget we just got the first glimpse of the two new Nokia S60 devices that are especially designed and will be exclusively available on the most popular carrier in the US.
The first one is Mako, very interesting and very unique piece of hardware that combines QWERTY keyboard and S60 software packed into glossy classic side-sliding form factor.
Same as the Nokia E71x S60 3rd Ed edition with addition of the Feature Pack 2. Additionally, phone is equipped standard set of connectivity options including, dual-band HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and all other goodies you would expect from one S60 device.
Unfortunately it is not all good news when it comes to specifications as it features pretty disappointing 2.4” QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera and 2.5mm headphone jack. Phone is expected to be available at the beginning of the next month and that’s pretty much all we know about for now.
The Snapper flip is a mid-range device flip device based on the Symbian OS that running under the S60 platform that should replace the Nokia 6650.
Phone is equipped with triband HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, and a 2 megapixel camera and is expected to be available in August. Definitely not a phone for freaks like us, nothing more, nothing less to say.
