This is guaranteed to be a special day for everyone who loves Symbian!

The world’s leading mobile operating system is going through some big changes and yesterday was the last day of Symbian as we know it!

Symbian Foundation today announced the start of its beta website, members are now able to license, modify and distribute code which finally makes Symbian an OPEN SOURCE OS after 10 years of innovations, 10 years of hard work on improving and optimizing code to make it both, users and developers friendly.

Foundation is now fully operational, open for business, open for ideas, it has new heart logo and we should mark this day as significant milestone in the launch of the Symbian Foundation and celebrate it as the official Foundation birthday!!!!

Changing identity can be very tricky and to be really honest with you I have mixed feelings about rebranding and I’m really curious what do you think of the new Symbian logo and whole rebranding campaign based on a simple handwriting graphic?

Is it up to the new trends? Does it make a brand look new and fresh up the new goals of a company!?
