+ Gravity: First fully-featured Twitter client for S60 devices

30 March 2009

The First Fully-Featured & Native
Twitter Client For The S60 Platform

STEW Twitter Gravity v1.00 is the first fully-featured and native Twitter client for the S60 platform. It supports multiple accounts, Twitter Search, Laconica, TwitPic and wraps everything into a gorgeous looking interface. This is the best twitter client so far and as it brings all twitter functions on your S60 phone, reply, DM, follow & unfollow, create favourites, search, auto-update and many more.

Application is also finger friendly and supports the kinetic scrolling on 5th edition devices. Furthermore, you can use as many accounts as you want at the same time with the tabbed view of your Timeline, Replies, Messages and Friends.

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Gravity allows its users to answer on Twitter site's fundamental question and to send and read other users' updates (known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

This can be, in its most simplistic form, a one or two word answer, but when developed this is a tool that lends itself to developing understanding and potentially starting collaboration.

Status updates are displayed on the users' profile pages and delivered to other users who subscribe to them. Users can receive status updates through the Twitter Web site, SMS, RSS, e-mail, or an application such as Twitterrific, Facebook, or this example widget.

The only downside is that application is not freeware and if you need it will cost you 7.80 Euros after the 10 days long trial period.
