+ Sony Ericsson Idou: First Symbian Foundation Device!?!?

15 February 2009

Sony Ericsson Idou!???
Highend Symbian Devices With 12.1 MP Cam?!

It seems that Sony Ericsson has revealed its new flagship Smartphone with the code name Idou a bit earlier than it was expected.

The just leaked promo press materials show amazing device with great 16:9, 3.5” touchscreen touchscreen and amazing 12.1-Megapixel camera supported with the Xenon flash!!

The most importantly, the phone is rumoured to be based on the unspecified version of the Symbian OS and it is not quite clear if it will be based on some of the currently available platforms or it will be powered with the upcoming Symbian Foundation operating system that I s supposed to be available in the second half of 2009 year.

Of course, everything is based on rumour and the leaked materials spotted over at semc blog but if this is true soon we’ll get full specifications of the very first foundation device and although we know nothing about most of the specifications I am pretty sure it will be one of the best devices released at the mobile world congress.

More info soon, will keep you informed about everything!!!!
