LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications and Symbian Limited, the market leader in open mobile operating systems, today quietly announced LG-KT770, stylish and attractive slider mobile Smartphone with a unique 2.8" WQVGA screen.
So far it is confirmed that phone is equipped with the 5 megapixels camera and is powered with the S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 although some source claims it has the 5th edition of the S60 platform.
The marriage of LG and Symbian is an ideal, KT770 combines the stunning appearance of LG Electronics' latest handsets with Symbian's intelligent and robust operating system, compatible with thousands of commercially available applications, making it a smartphone that appeals to a wide audience.
Beside the unique screen with the resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, it also features Buil-in GPS receiver with the A-GPS support and the standard set of connectivity options including the GPRS,
EDGE,
3G HSDPA (7.2 Mbps),
WLAN and
Bluetooth.
It has 5 MPX camera with support geo-tagging, macro mode, face recognition and smile shot and is powered with a little bit disappointing Li-Ion 950 mAh batter packed into relatively compact body with size of 111 x 51.5 x 15 mm.
That's all I know for now and I just hope we'll get official press, photos and specifications tomorrow.
