+ Quick note: Minor Firmware Update For N95-1 Released!

07 January 2009

Minor Firmware Update
For Oldie Nokia N95-1 Has Just Gone Live

I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that Nokia has rolled out minor firmware update for oldie but goldie Nokia N95!

Our Spy Kid reports that firmware upgrade version 31.0.017 is now available through Nokia Software Updater for most of the generic product codes and is expected to be available for the branded product devices shortly.

As you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended because it usually improves the performance and reliability of your phone but in this case you should think twice before update, especially if you are still running older but hackable firmware version!

Unfortunately, I still didn’t manage to get the change log so I can’t tell you much about this obviously just a minor firmware update but I am sure I’ll not update my phone until someone confirms that Nokia has forget to add anti-hacking measures!

Anyway, if you don't care about hacking and if your phone is in range of currently supported generic codes just connect it to PC, run Nokia Software Updater and do it ;)

That's all for now, more information about latest update you can find at our forum section. Almost forget, 10X 4 the screenshot Webworm!
