+ Nokia N95 8GB firmware v31 available but NOT Hackable

20 January 2009

New firmware update for N95 8GB
Released And Confirmed As Unhackable

Nokia N95 v30Few weeks after the Nokia N95 classic, its renewed 8GB version gets the firmware v31 as well. Our Electric Eden reported yesterday that new firmware for N95 8GB is now available through the Nokia Software Updater.

As you would imagine, the firmware update is always recommended as it usually improves the performance and reliability of your phone but in this case you should think twice before update!

First of all I still didn’t mage to get the change log, users reports that there are no visible changes, signal strength bug reported is already reported and some users can’t catch signal at all after update.

The last but not the least the just released firmware update is confirmed as UNHACKABLE few days ago and I can’t recommend it unfortunately.

However, if hacking is not an important issue for you, and if you don’t care about change logs firmware is now available for most of the generic EMEA codes through the Nokia Software Updater. For more information join the healthy discussion over at our forum section.
