+ Nokia E71: Major Firmware update for EMEA region

12 January 2008

Change Log Is In Da House
Major Firmware Update For Nokia E71

FirmwareAs you may have already know, the major firmware update for the phones Nokia E66 or Nokia E71 is available for a few weeks now through the Phoenix service software but now it is finally officially available through the Nokia Software Updater so you can easily get the latest software without need to go to the nearest Service Center or flash it with semi-functional cracked 3rd party flashers.

Firmware is currently available only for EMEA region for most of the generic product codes and hopefully Nokia will soon release it for NAM and branded devices as well

Beside the general functionality and stability improvements, firmware v200 also brings few new themes: Red Personal, Black Personal, Red Business and Black Business as well as significant improved theme support in the Calendar and Alarm Application.

I’ve also managed to get the full change log (10X Stipe) for Nokia E71 and the change log for upcoming E66 update is supposed to be pretty much the same and if you are curious a bout hacking status I'm afraid I have no good news. I've tried to hack my friend phone few days ago without success unfortunately :[
