Handcase Goes Symbian!
Whole Catalogue To Be Ported To Symbian
HANDCASE, a company focused on mobile solutions for PalmOS platform with portfolio of more than 300 products is the biggest producer of software for Palm and second largest developer of games for Palm platform has decided to support Symbian S60 devices as well!!!
The Handcase will port its extensive catalogue of products that is today only available for Palm platform to Symbian OS starting the next year when the first software for the Symbian S60 devices is expected to be available!
The mobile industry in the past two years has made a leap in terms of platform options, and the real interest of the community of developers to support new platforms, case of integrated Symbian (for future soon, according to Symbian Foundation).
The Handcase comes to evaluating some time the migration of its extensive portfolio of software and games for other mobile platforms.
Why Symbian? "Because it is the largest platform in terms of volume of users. We can not ignore the need for software and games for users of Symbian.
We now have over 300 products for Palm, between software and games and reach 400.
Imagine all this available to you and your device with Symbian... "
They are also suggesting testing their freeware collection through the emulator for Palm to Symbian which is strangely only available for Maemo devices!? WTF!??
The another solution could be Styletap Plam emulator for Symbian S60 devices!? 300 applications and games sound really impressive and I would like to test these soft as soon as possible, there must ne something useful!
Here it the link to the HANDCASE website and if you manage to find a valid S60 emulator pleeeeeeeeeeeease let me know over at our forum section.
