Unofficial Python version 1.4.5 Is provided AS IS with NO SUPPORT!!
A new version of the Python for 1.4.5 S60 3rd Edition devices has been released yesterday and posted over at our forum section.
Although it fixes quite a few of the bugs it is still an unofficial update and is provided AS IS with NO SUPPORT!
In simple words, the leaked update pack is not made by Nokia, no source code of the changes is available so be careful and proceed at your own risk.
Cyke64, one of the most active member of the PyS60 community has matched files from those unofficial update pack with the last official 1.4.4 and in source Python files and he noticed a few changes in following components; calendar.py (add description field ), camera.py (typo postion corrected) and positioning.py(using thread ). Pyd files are different though but surely because on the new compilation of theses modules (GCCE).
In case you would like to get it and test it package is available at SF forum section but is provided AS IS with NO SUPPORT, so be careful and use this soft at your own risk, Symbian freak team and this site can’t take any responsibility if you damage your phone!
