Panoramic Photos On Your Camera Phone!

Current camera phones can take reasonably good photos but it can be hard to capture wide vistas such as landscapes and city views.

Recording panoramic or 360-degree views is painstaking and requires manually merging or alignment of individual pictures.

PanoMan 3.0 intelligently automates creating great panoramic photos. The panoramic pictures are stored on the camera phone and can be sent via MMS or email to friends and blogs. They also look great when printed out because of the high resolutions supported byPanoMan 3.0.

To create a 360-degree photo, the user simply turns around on the spot while the camera records the picture. I tested it out on the Nokia N93. From what I read, it works even better on the Nokia N95!

This is an amazing piece of software. Just push the shutter, and it will start capturing. It will prompt you to pan across, and when to stop for the next sequence to capture.

Keep panning for up to 12 images, or you can stop it prematurely. Straight after, it will then process the image, by adjusting exposures to match between images, and distortion correction.
