+ Ozone Web Browser Bringing Web 2.0 to UIQ Devices!

21 November 2008

Ozone Web Browser for UIQ 3
First Alpha Version Available for Download!

Ozone Web Browser UIQ is the first and the biggest victim of Symbian Foundation so far and although these are the last days of UIQ as we know it the community and the huge user base is still alive and user will remain using the UIQ based phones for some time no matter what happens with the UIQ Company.

UIQ is also known by the great and productive developer base and the UIQ's developer community continues to produce software at an unprecedented rate and the latest addition is the new web browser based on the WebKit!

Ozone is a free, world-class mobile browser that offers great performance and an outstanding mobile browsing experience for UIQ based phones.

Ozone's features make it one of the best in its class. From the open-source WebKit engine, it not only delivers advanced features such as client-side database support, zooming, tapping and multiple windows, but Ozone also provides the best web-standards compliant experience that's available.

By the users reports and feedback browser is surprising stabile for the early alpha version and better than the Opera Mobile and Digia @web and it is definitely something that I would like to see ported to S60 5th edition!
