N-Gage Adds Support For
Nokia N78 and 6210 Navigator!

NavigatorShort post, but some really, really good news for all those fanatic gamers who looking to finally get your lovely Nokia N78 or the Navigator hooked up with the N-gage platform.

Apparently Nokia has quietly rolled out a new N-gage client application and added the support for more N-Gage devices.

Two new S60 3rd Ed devices have joined the new Nokia gaming platform and N-Gage applications is now available and fully compatible with both, the Nokia N78 and the Nokia 6210 Navigator.

Unfortunately service is still not available for older Nokia S60 3rd ed devices and there is no information when it will be finally available and when the owners of the older phone like Nokia N73 or Nokia N93 or Nokia N93(i) will be able to enjoy in the platform and games!?!?

In the recent interview, Jaakko Kaidesoja, head of Nokia's gaming operations told Reuters that firm will decide within a month whether to expand N-Gage support to a relatively old model, the Nokia N73. The phone has limited computing power, but Nokia has sold 20 million of them, making it the world's most sold smartphone.

'Limited computing power' is maybe even a valid argument for the N73 but Nokia N93 is actually the first Nokia phone based on the great Texas chipset and dedicated GPU and is capable to process any of the existing or upcoming N-Gage titles!?!?

You can download it via 'Get N-Gage' on the official website (If you can't see it set your location to international)
