Nokia E71 Coming to AT&T as the Nokia E71x

Although it is not officially announced to come to AT&T, there have been persistent rumours and reports that Nokia working on the special version of the award winning Nokia E71 for the AT&T network but without any material evidence!

But now, thanks to the The Boy Genius who unearthed the first solid evidence about phone existence we are quite sure that phone exist and it going to be available soon at a very affordable price which is great news for all S60 fans on AT&T network!

Genius Boy claims that it should be in the neighbourhood of $150 with a 2-year contract but that’s still unconfirmed information!

However, the most interesting thing is the 'X' suffix and it is not clear what it means. It could be just a sign that it is a proto device but it is quite possible that AT&T’s version is equipped with some 'X'tra hardware??!

The worst possible scenario is that users will get some kind of the cheaper scaled down device that is closer to Nokia E63 than to the E71 but I don’t think it is possible because they’ll rather pick up the E63 instead of E71!

First Rogers and now AT&T, I am just curious what’s next :]
