+ Graphite: Shiny S60 DVB-H Powered Concept Phone

Graphite DVB-H Mobile:
Shiny S60 DVB-H Powered Concept Phone

Graphite DVB-H MobileGraphite is a concept mobile phone utilising DVB-H technology, aiming to maximise screen area whilst maintaining a mechanical kinetic aspect to the keypad.

Probably the first thing you’ll notice about this shiny concept phone is the translucent on/off button, scene from the 'The Dark Knight' movie and superb 3.6” AMOLED display extended with touch capabilities!

Interestingly author has chosen to power this concept phone with upcoming Symbian Foundation OS and the S60 platform on top of it.

As you can see on photos, he even predicted how the active idle screen would look once when the Foundation OS and platform will be ready to reach the masses.

Graphite Mobile phone is also equipped with the weird 5.1 megapixel autofocus camera supported with the Xenon flash and 3 dedicated camera buttons. It also features large stereo speakers, 4 USB ports and 5 dedicated 3.5mm audio ports.

This concept phone also includes a 0.6 MP front video camera, an on/off translucent button, an active mechanical keypad and a spring loaded cover that protects the battery, memory card and SIM card.

This is pretty interesting concept but there is a problem unfortunately! You see, actual service is not widely available as yet and there would be no point in buying such TV optimized phone in countries and areas without DVB-H coverage.
