Nokia E71 Available at Rogers
Get it for just $99 on a 3-year contract

Several days ago we have briefly informed you that award winning Nokia E71 should be available soon at Rogers and unlocked device will cost around $500!

However, the same source today reports that phone is now available at Rogers Wireless for new as well as for existing customers at very affordable price!!

If you take out a 36 month contract (with a minimum voice and data plan of $45 a month) Nokia E71 will be heavily subsidized by the operator and will cost you just $99 during the promotion period so better hurry up if you are interesting in!!!

The Nokia E71 was originally to be released through Fido until the dog was told to settle down. When I called Rogers none of the Customer Service reps new about the device or when it would be available.

"If you call you have to be disciplined to find a good rep who’ll give you the correct info.I originally was given $349.99 on a 3-year plan, $374.99 on a 2-year plan, $524.99 on a 1-year plan and outright for $749.99… then I asked for the promo price (which drops it down to $99.99)."

The Nokia E71 runs on the Symbian global leading operating software platform using Rogers’ high-speed HSPA network, Canada’s fastest mobile data network. With support for both corporate and personal e-mail, built in GPS, WiFi, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, and up to 8GB of memory it is no wonder that WIRED Magazine named the Nokia E71 “Test Best Cell Phone” in their November 2008 test issue.
