Flagship Nseries Touch Device
Coming Sooner Than Expected!

This is definitely not shocking news for freaks like us, but it seemed that Nokia managed to surprise a few bloggers with official confirmation that they are working on a touchscreen Nseries phone.

As a matter of fact, about a half year ago I told you that Nokia 5800 is typical mid range phone and that flag ship touch model is supposed to hit markets shortly after.

Yesterday, at the recent Nokia event held in New Delhi, it is officially confirmed and the only surprising part is that it maybe coming a little bit sooner than expected!

Way back in July, Nokia confirmed my predications that its first touch-screen phone will fall into mid-range segment and additionally, they are expecting to announce several more smartphone, some of which will hit the market before the end of the year.

"Currently, the market for touchscreen products is a nice market. We always aim for a situation where we can cover all the segments with all the options," said Senior Vice President of Nokia Markets Anssi Vanjoki.

Anyway, cellpassion blog today reports that Finnish mobile phone giant is currently prepping the flagship NSeries touchscreen device and is expected to make an announcement soon. "We will have lot of touchscreen phones coming up, including an N-series device very soon," said Devinder Kishore, director marketing, Nokia India at an event in New Delhi.

While he refused to divulge the announcement date, it can be expected before the end of this year with the device hitting the markets in early 2009. yes you read it right, it seems that we'll get touch flagship sooner than expected and it is supposed to be announced before the end of the year and to hit the market early 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
