Nokia Gets FCC Approval
For the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic!

According to documents that just appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission's Web site, Nokia has received regulatory approval to start selling its first S60 touchscreen phone in the states!

As you may already know, such approval is required before a wireless device can be sold to consumers in the United States and if nothing else FCC approval is always a good sign that phone is on the way and indicates that it will be released for US markets soon, maybe sooner than expected!??

FCC pages reveals nothing new about Nokia Tube beside the semi attractive internal and external photos, as well as the draft version of the user manual in pdf format.

However the most interesting is fact this is not the typical NAM version of the phone as it lacks support for the US 850/1900 MHz frequencies!!!
