+ Nokia N95 8GB firmware v30 available through NSU now!

New firmware update for Nokia N95 8GB
has been released
(MCU SW v30.0.018)

Nokia N95 v30Just as we expected, the new firmware update for Nokia N95 8GB that is leaked few days ago is now officially released and available on the NSU servers.

Firmware v30.0.018 is available through the Nokia Software Updater for most of the generic product codes and will be available progressively in the next few days at the official Nokia Points and Nokia Service Points.

As usually, this release should improve the performance as well as fix known bugs and problems from previous versions and brings some more than welcome updates for the preinstalled applications like, Nokia Maps, Nokia Search, Share online, Comes with music extensions and so on.

Here is the leaked change log:

New features:

  • Maps 2.0
  • Nokia Search 4.0 with Google plug-in
  • Share on Ovi added
  • ‘Comes With Music’ extensions
  • Mosh and Ovi Bookmarks added to Browser

Changes/Improvements:

  • Download! application updated (v 3.1.50)
  • New baseline for Startup settings
  • New baseline/upgrade to Music Player
  • Baseline update for Flashlite3 (improved viewing of sites like YouTube)
  • Current consumption improvements (for e.g. WLAN scanning)
  • New baseline for VoIP (with significant error corrections)
  • General error corrections
