Toshiba LED Pico Projector
Is Almost Ready For Prime Time!

For years we've been promised a whole new viewing experience, micro-projectors that will liberate visual content from the tiny screens of our mobile devices and it finally came true.

Toshiba quietly showed off their latest pocket projector at Europe's IFA 2008. It is an extremely cool-looking pico LED projector which weighs less than 100 grams and is packed into shiny body with measures of the 10 x 4.5 x 1.7 centimeters and shine up 10 lumen of light!

Of course, this is not the very first projector, not at all, I’m constantly writing about this cool and very promising technology and if you have been here for long enough then you should be well aware that Apitek V10 pico-projector is already commercially available and there is an even projector equipped phone from as-yet-unknown Chinese manufacturer.

But this one is not from some small company nobody's ever heard of, Toshiba is reputable brand and its LED projector looks very professional, sleek and cool. Plus, it's from Toshiba, rather than.

These small led-based projectors are expected to enable a "big screen" viewing experience from mobile devices. By projecting content displayed on the device screen onto a wall, object or even a curved surface, mobile users could easily share Websites or multimedia applications such as movies, personal videos, mobile TV, photographs and presentations with friends or business colleagues.

I know it is kind unpractical to carry yet another gadget in the pocket but would like to tedst it as soon as possible anyway ;)
