BBC's iPlayer service
for S60 devices officially confirmed
Lying in bed watching the latest episodes of your favorite series on a mobile phone will become possible from the 1st October after a tie-up between the BBC and Nokia.
Official BBC iPlayer blog finally confirmed that users of the Nokia N96 are to be among the first with the ability to run the BBC's iPlayer on their mobile phones!
From the beginning of next month a purpose-built application will be available to download via the BBC website and will also be pre-loaded on some handsets.

Erik Huggers, BBC Director of Future Media and Technology, said the deal was "critical" to reach out to as many people as possible. In a statement he said: "Over the past eight months we have worked tirelessly to ensure BBC iPlayer is available on as many platforms as possible, from the PC and TV to games consoles and mobiles.
