+ VIDEO: Another Touchless Game On The Way!

05 September 2008

Technobubble Shows Off New Game
With Touchless Control Interface

FunCamI just found out there is another game on the horizon called FunCam, which claims to bring an intuitive interface and totally new experience of realism and gameplay to mobile phones.

The game itself isn’t that innovative as it is based on the touchless control interface similar to the eyePlay Engine and the addictive eyeSight‘s Ninja game but it indeed goes one step further by optimizing the interface to work in synergy with the TV out.

Combination of these two technologies and simultaneous joint action of the image recognition technology and the TV out has great total effect on the game and the whole concept looks awesome and promises a dose of healthy fun for the whole family!

The core technology is based on the image processing and algorithms that utilize the phone camera together with user movements and translate them to commands that control the UI.

This the very promising technology and I guess that we can expect a whole new generation of mobile games if the technology will be able to identify and interpret complex human gestures on the right way in the real time.

FunCam is developed by Technobubble, the same company which produce the one of the best accelerometer based game called Panda Manda and there is no reason to not expect another kick ass game!
