Yeigo 2.2 Wants To Be
Your Cost Saving Communications Center

YeigoLungisa Matshoba, Executive Director at Yeigo Communications and a dear friend of mine, has been on a mission to create the standard for mobile communication. Next Wednesday, he'll be one step closer.

However, having friends in high places has its privileges. In a special invitation to Symbian Freaks everywhere, Lungisa Matshoba and Yeigo Communications will be giving us an early look, making his latest solution, Yeigo 2.2, available for download now!

Yeigo 2.2 is more than a messenger, but a total communications solution for your smartphone. A much welcomed new feature is multilanguage character support. My favorite feature isn’t even something most users will even notice, but I surely appreciate.

Yeigo works on nearly all popular carriers connection settings, whether GPRS, EDGE, 3G, or Wi-Fi! So if, like me, you get frustrated at your carrier blocking your favorite messenger application by closing certain ports, you should definitely give this a try.

Yeigo could never replace your carrier without SMS, and Yeigo doesn’t disappoint. SMS is available via extremely low cost credits. In fact, all its services could replace your carrier’s as long as you can maintain an open internet connection

All services are optimized to use very little data, and keep costs low. In fact, Yeigo uses just 45 kilobytes daily to remain connected with no call or data interruptions!

When it comes to messaging, Yeigo shows it is ready to keep you connected in more ways than any other communications app! It supports many popular chat platforms, such as Yeigo's own network, plus Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, and Jabber, and more. This latest release also adds support for chatting with Facebook, Skype, and QQ networks as well.

These additional networks are a major upgrade I think will set his solution apart from others! In a future update, they even expect to add the ability to know when your friends are typing a response! It's pretty obvious Yeigo's messenger capabilities are well thought out, and beyond amazing!

Yeigo

No communications solution would be complete without a voice solution. This is where Yeigo shines, providing a free VOIP option to other Yeigo users, or, like SMS, via low cost credits for calls to non-Yeigo recipients with per second billing. Yeigo 2.2 has greatly improved voice quality over previous versions, which Lungisa describes as "better than ever".

Yeigo

If this app weren't already packed with enough features, it puts contacting your Yeigo friends in the power of your phone with the unique Holler feature. Holler is a feature of versions 2.1 or later which allows you to contact other Yeigo users when they are offline! Free of charge, Yeigo will send a notification to the offline user telling them to logon to Yeigo to begin a conversation! All this communications power, presence, and connectivity is available on the Yeigo network without even having logged on!

So if you're looking for a way to lower your monthly mobile bill, stay connected with your friends, and even ditch your SIM card altogether, Yeigo 2.2 presents a total solution for smartphone users everywhere!

Communication in an integrated, complete, and powerful total package, Yeigo 2.2 is a magnificent application Symbian users can't afford not to give a try.
