Nokia N85 & N79 Promo Videos and Featuers Demonstrations from NokiaConversations

Nokia N85As we have expected, Nokia has announced two New Nseries phones yesterday and confirmed all we already knew and the only surprising detail is actually OLED display on the Nokia N85 which is hopefully not a passive matrix OLED screen.

Anyway, AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology is already well covered here and if you've been here for long enough than you're well aware what AMOLED is and what benefits this technology brings.

In short it offers rapid response time, wide view angles, distinctive resolution, vivid color and stable contrast even in the very bright environments!

An organic LED consists of organic light emitting pixels deposited onto a classic TFT (thin film transistor) array.

A significant benefit of OLED displays over traditional liquid crystal displays (LCDs) is that OLED pixels illuminate on electrical activation without the need for the power hungry backlight and that’s the main reason why these screens are more power efficient. AMOLED’s pixels are also activated individually rather than row by row which further improves the power efficient in comparisons passive matrix OLEDs.

Anyway, here are the very first commercials of the latest additions in the Nseries family, and the Hardware/Software demonstrations from the Nokia Conversations.
