Another FOMA phone based on Symbian OS
Symbian Limited welcomes NTT DOCOMO’s launch of the FOMA Raku-Raku PHONE V based on Symbian OS™ which starts shipping in Japan today.
Symbian OS is the global market-leading open operating system for mobile phones.
The FOMA Raku-Raku PHONE V is a "user-friendly", "easy-to-operate", "easy on the eye" and "reassuring" handset which can monitor the user’s health on a daily basis.
It's manufactured by Fujitsu Limited and includes the MOAP® platform which is compliant with the latest FOMA specifications.
The basic emphasis of the given series of phones is made on as more as possible simple management of phone and in particular to people of old age. For these purposes, in a novelty which will have alphanumeric index F884iES, besides already such known for "Raku Raku" phones of functions as repetition and the slowed own pronunciation of conversation, recognition of speech and its transformation to the text, a large and contrast font, are added functions tracking health of the owner of this phone.

Among such functions there is a pedometer, the pulse control, and by means of external gauges to measure pressure and to supervise the fat contents.
