Symbian Foundation looking for
new
Executive Director!
 |
Symbian CEO Nigel Clifford |
Nokia recently decided to buy Symbian, make it ultimately open source platform and finally offer it for free to keep its leading mobile platform position and to drive innovation by attracting independent developers.
This move will generate many new products based on the Symbian Foundation platform, attracting new companies as well as driving change for the established players.
As an open source mobile software platform, the Symbian Foundation will drive innovation which will ultimately benefit consumers as well as the whole mobile industry.
This is radical move requires new leader with a new vision, clear strategy, ready to adapt to the radical industry changes that are coming.
Matt Asay from cnet.com got some insider info that Symbian Foundation is looking for an executive director to continue and expand the Foundation's activities to date. Does it means that Nigel Clifford, CEO of Symbian will be moved on to a new position and continue to serve the organization!??
Any serious candidate among Symbian Freaks :]
