Samsung working on S60 slider equipped with
16GB memory 8Mpx sensor and Feature pack II

I've just got some intriguing photos of the impressive Samsung’s S60 slider prototype that obviously runs latest version of the S60 platform with Feature pack 2 and is equipped 8 MPX camera sensor.

Phone is supposed to be Samsung i8510 or Samsung G850 and it going to be Samsung answer on the recently released Sony Ericsson C905 CyberShot phone and rumoured upcoming Motorola’s Kodak branded 8 MPX camera phone.

Phone reminds me on Samsung G810 and definitely looks like its successor, it features the same form factor, similar design and metal cover but with incomparable better specifications.

The features list of Samsung i8510 is simply awesome, as I said it has the 8.0 MPX camera, VGA video (120fps) 16GB of the build in NAND memory, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, 2.8" screen (resolution is mystery but I hope it is not just another VGA phone).

There is an also DivX support, TV out, a dedicated 3D chip, the optical mouse featured in i780 & i900, DLNA, stero speakers, 1200mAh battery.

Last but not the least, this impressive hardware is powered with the latest version of the S60 platform (3rd edition Feature pack II) and packed into relatively small and compact body, 106.5 x 53.9 x 16.9mm

This looks like the serious competition to Nokia S60 portfolio and I am just curious about the screen resolution? If it is larger than QVGA and if it features accelerometer it will be my next S60 phone for sure, by, by Nokia!!!
