+ Nokia N85 confirmed officially: User agent profile leaked!

22 July 2008

Nokia N85 User agent profile!?
Our worst fear was confirmed to be true!

Nokia N85Over the last few months there has been a lot of speculation, rumors and bunch of blurry photos of the two upcoming Nokia Nseries devices

Now thanks to the new UAP's on the Nokia NDS site Nokia has finally confirmed speculation and the existence of the Nokia N85.

UAProf (User agent profile) is an XML document that contains information about the user agent type and device capabilities. It is a standard defined and maintained by the Open Mobile Alliance (formerly the WAP Forum) and it clearly confirms that Nokia will release those device very soon.

Unfortunately, it seems that our worst fear was confirmed to be true! Just leaked user agent profile reveals that Nokia N85 is just another Nseries phone with crappy and outdated QVGA screen.

Not very creative Nokia N81 like design, crappy dual led flash, totally outdated QVGA screen, and average cam?!? Well let's just say that I am disappointed once again, how about you?

Phone is powered by the S60 3rd Edition v3.2, FP2 and latest version of the Symbian OS 9.3. It also support wide range of the connectivity options including Wi-Fi, GPRS; EDGE; UMTS and HSDPA. That's all for now!
