NiiMe Drums Project
Encourage the Artist in yourself!

NiiMe Drums Project

I've already informed you that my friend Asier Arranz developer of the famous NiiMe series of applications has finished exams which means that he has some more free time to work on the NiiMe project and upcoming accelerometer based applications like NiiMe Drums, NiiMe Play or NiiMe Calibration.

Anyway, I am honored to be asked to introduce and to write an exclusive preview of his upcoming NiiMe Drums application. NiiMe Drums is the very first motion based music application for the Accelerometer enabled Symbian S60 phones like Nokia N95.

It is the music-production solution that allows you to spontaneously compose the music tracks just with shaking your phone and instantly playing on your PC after composing.

It is like virtual recording studio and creative sound creation tool for your phone. It allows you to create your own drums compositions without the need for dedicated and expensive hardware or any other additional software.

I am really not an expert for drums or for music composing but I know that inspiration is the most important part and you are looking for a quick way to lay down your ideas or just want to create some crazy compositions then this is the only package you need!

NiiMe Drums Project

If nothing else NiiMe Drums can help you to discover the inner artist in yourself and reveal some hidden talents ;)

NiiMe Drums is still under developing and first public version is scheduled for 1st May. Application currently has only ability to play created tracks but I truly believe that Asier will managed to add an option to save recorded track till the official public reales.

Last but not the least, I made a short video to demostrate how it looks like in opractice, just keep in mind that I am not a drummer and haven't any exprience in music composing ;)
