Samsung i550 appeared in German c’t magazine

We got lot of Samsung’s S60 phones lately but unfortunately it is still fairly hard to find them in the wild and it is even harder to get some device for reviewing. Believe me that I gave my best; I have tried everything, already contacted Samsung few times and asked for some trial devices for testing purpose but no luck so far :(

Anyway, Tams S60 reports that guys behind the German c’t magazine somehow managed to get hands on the Samsung i550 and make a full page review.

In general, the device was rated very well(competitive with Nokia phones) - the magazine was especially impressed by the low price; but was unhappy with the lack of WiFi.

Products reviewed in the c’t magazine usually sell somewhat well - this could very well show the start of a big rollout of the machine in Germany and Austria.
